Social Media Content Committee Chair – Little Locals Fund
(a.k.a. The Storyteller-in-Chief & Meme Dreamer)
Do you live for double-taps, shares, and the thrill of a perfect caption? The Little Locals Fund is looking for a Social Media Content Committee Chair who can take our mission and make it sparkle online. If you’ve ever said, “Wait, let me grab a photo for Instagram,” this might be your calling.
What you’ll do (officially):
- Lead our content strategy across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok… who knows what’s next?).
- Create, curate, and schedule posts that engage our community and celebrate our impact.
- Work with staff and volunteers to share stories, events, and programs.
- Track analytics to see what’s working (and what’s flopping).
- Keep our messaging consistent, fresh, and on-brand.
What you’ll really do (unofficially):
- Turn heartwarming moments into posts that make people tear up and hit “share.”
- Use memes, reels, and stories to make nonprofit life look as fun as it really is.
- Hype up families, littles, volunteers, and donors like the rockstars they are.
- Be the person everyone turns to when they say, “We need a post about this!”
Who you are:
- A creative soul with a knack for storytelling.
- Comfortable with Canva, captions, and keeping up with trends.
- Equal parts strategic and spontaneous.
- Someone who believes social media can build real community impact.
Perks (besides internet glory):
- You get to shape the voice and vibe of the Little Locals Fund.
- A chance to flex your creativity while fueling a mission that matters.
- The joy of seeing your content inspire real-world change.
